listening to: tohpati - kehidupan
This kind of instrumental music makes me sentimental. Very.
The right sentences to go along with this song would be...
Once, I loved, and I gave so much love to this love, you were the world to me.
Once I cried at the thought I was foolish and proud and let you say goodbye.
See how sentimental that is. Not healthy. After 23 years passed by, I am still a dreamer at heart...
On another note, I didn't know furnitures can be so much of a hassle. After all, I have never had any furnitures, except for a bedside stand and a cast iron mirror I brought from Pennsylvania. This is my first time moving into an unfurnished apartment. Yeah, I just got the apartment last Tuesday. After picking up my mom at the airport (fresh from Indonesia), we drove to Pasadena and checked out two apartments to choose the best unit that they have. The name of the apartment I chose? Alexan City Place *pokes
Alexa* My apartment unit is a very nice one bedroom with a loft, located on the top floor (hence the cathedral ceiling), with a great view of Old Town Pasadena.
And so I went on a shopping spree. For furnitures, that is. I bought a queen bed, found a nice sectional sofabed, got some linens. I just finished moving my stuff: part 1. I was being impractical by not having my sofa delivered, thus the hassle of moving it in by ourselves (3 guys and myself). It was very, VERY heavy, I tell you. Definitely will have future furnitures delivered, no matter how long it will take.
As I had predicted, I didn't move in to the new apartment right away. It will take some time until all of my belongings are transported there. Not to mention the need to get some more furnitures. Tables, chairs, bookrack, etc. Packing is the part that I hate the most. I'll probably will start packing again tomorrow. Right now I'm just too exhausted from having been working hard all day long and from having had sleep deprivation since Tuesday. Sleep is all I need... and maybe with a sweet dream :)
