Coincidences? Make it double, my dear :3
I, too, have been craving for Maison Ikkoku anime since I got the DVD on the beginning of this year. Or was it the end of last year? *ponders* The 12-disc DVD has been accompanying me whenever I am eating downstairs, episode by episode, day by day. Right now I've watched up till the 2nd disc; about 15 episodes, I think. Makes me want to fetch my dear MI manga. I still love the manga so much more than the anime.

But Hikaru...! That particular puppet image has been sitting on my hard drive for a few months, waiting for me to finish editing it. I was going to use it for this blog, but of course my laziness overcame my initial intention. Yours is the picture of perfection. It's very nicely edited. I like it much :3

Yes, as dear Alexa has announced, I would have picked Shun over Yusaku had I loved them equally *hears loud gasps all over the corners* Why? Simply because my #1 rule from my husband-to-be is in Shun's personality: the maturity level. I cannot be a mother to my husband. I do NOT want to. I'm tired of having been a mother since I was very small. So, never again...

Now you all know the very first criterion of my husband-to-be: he has to be more mature than me. I am not looking for a boyfriend. I am looking for a husband. And my heart is getting pickier than ever.

A sidenote.
To give everyone a background, I was saying that (I'd rather pick Shun over Yusaku) only because of these circumstances:
1. If I were Kyoko, minus all the complicated problems in the story (such as Asuna, etc). or
2. If there were only two guys (Shun & Yusaku) in real life who loved me equally and I loved them equally and I had to pick between the two based on their personalities & background, without worrying about the love itself (because of the equality).
Thus, my answer to the choice (between Shun & Yusaku) only valids for the above circumstances. It doesn't mean that I like Shun or I dislike Yusaku. I actually do not care for them personality-wise. I just love the story. There are things that I like from Shun. Equally, there are things that I do not like from Yusaku. In fact, there are things that I like and don't like from each character in Maison Ikkoku. Simply because everyone is not perfect, just like in real life. That, of course, includes Kyoko herself.
