The time is so cute :D
Well... tadaima! ^^v I've been extremely tired since I arrived home 4 hours ago, but I'll manage to say something anyway.
music : rah band - clouds across the moon
This song has been on my mind for the past 11 hours *_* 7 hours on the car, then 4 hours at home. My friend played this song over and over again, too bad I didn't count. But I believe it must have been more than 20 times, along with two other songs x_X Not that I loathe the songs, no.. I actually love the songs, but it was too much and I was totally bored of them right now. The other two songs are "Sorry Doesn't Make It Anymore" by Rah Band and "Jealousy" by Pet Shop Boys.
Yes, I just came back from Boston *nods* Thanks for the notice,
Alexa ^^ I forgot to leave a note here before leaving for Boston last Friday. I was in a real hurry upon departure, because my friend just called me at 5 PM and we left for Boston at 5.45 PM o_O; I only had time to rushingly pack & make sure I didn't forget anything essential (in the end, I did forget to bring my hairdryer and towel).
Why did I go to Boston, you ask? Well... here comes the not-so-long story *coughs* A friend of mine (let's call him A, an Indonesian at PennState) wanted to come to his ex-girlfriend's father's funeral. At first, he only asked Kara to come with him. However, Kara doesn't have a driver's license and he needed someone who has a license to accompany him, because his license was suspended (due to speeding, I believe). So he asked another guy (B) to come with him. Trouble was: there was no one to accompany B in Boston (A was going to Dover, New Hampshire -- less than 1 hour from Boston -- where his ex-girlfriend lives and the funeral was held; Kara was going to stay at her friend's house). Therefore, A called me in very last minute and asked me whether I wanted to come to Boston (more or less to accompany B). Of course, I brought my brother along. So all five of us (A, B, Kara, myself, and my brother) drove to Boston in A's car, which took about 7 hours each way >_< A and B both exchanged turns in driving.
We (except for Kara) ended up sleeping at B's friend's apartment because we couldn't get a cheap yet nice hotel and we were already very tired & hungry (we arrived in Boston around 1-2 AM). The next day (Saturday), A drove to Dover to attend the funeral (and meet his ex-girlfriend, to whom he broke up with 5 months ago and hadn't met for more than 1 year, in the hope of *soon* getting together again as boyfriend/girlfriend). B, myself, and my brother went to have lunch, shopping, and have dinner together with C (B's friend, whose apartment we stayed at). It was a brief enjoyment, but a nice one, since I hadn't been to Boston for two years. We stayed at a hotel that night, cause we didn't want to bother C too much. A came back from Dover on Sunday morning, went straight to our hotel, picked Kara up, and left for State College (the name of my city, in case anyone doesn't know yet =P It's a weird name, I know) afterwards. The return trip was very quite, gloomy, and somewhat sad... mostly because A brought a sad story from Dover: his ex-girlfriend has had another boyfriend. That must have been frustrating for A, because he had been together with his ex for 4 years before breaking up, and still loves her, above all. Of course, all of us (save for my brother, who couldn't have grasped the situation before I told him directly) felt bad for A and we kept quite almost the whole 7-hour trip. Imagine how boring & uncomfortable we were. And we felt really sorry & even more uncomfortable when A wept two times (if I'm not mistaken) silently while listening to the love songs (mostly broken heart songs, though) over & over again. So you get the idea... the same songs were played all too often; there wasn't much variety of the songs played. As a result, the 3 most often played songs are staying stubbornly in my head until this very moment *_*
That concludes the story of my trip to Boston, which is actually quite long in the end *grins*
But
Alexa, I didn't spend much money at all in Boston, since we drove there. I only spent money for lunch/dinner and buying a few clothes for my brother (using the pocket money my dad gave him for his trip to USA), because he's in deep need of new clothing (FYI, my dad is very strict with spending money for shopping and my brother hadn't bought anything for a year... o_O). To be perfectly honest, I don't have much money on my hands right now... not until I earn my own money from my future job. I only have very little now left the rest of the year... that's why I need a decent job as soon as possible (and avoid spending too much for vacations).
By the way, Alexa, I have all the scans (high resolution & high quality -- about 1+ MB for each file) of Lain artbook. Interested? I can zip it & send it to you anytime ^^v Oh, to answer your question about
ACO: no.. I didn't notice the "666" number on the police uniforms. I have to watch it again for sure *nods* And yes, I agree that Alex's munching is intimidating for some reason. Perfect acting by
McDowell *_*
*lol*
Joey, your sleeping pattern is no more messed up than mine XD You've heard me speaking about that many times, I suppose.
Congratulations on your new
domain,
Anne! Mmm, I think I need to ask you for another favor, if you wouldn't mind... My brother couldn't get some of the manga I wanted, so is it possible for you to help me... ? ^^ Sorry for the trouble, it's alright if you won't be able to. I have the list already, and my mom is going to USA around July 15 (I'm not sure yet, I have to ask her again about the date), so you have 2 weeks to shop. Thanks a lot in advance, I really appreciate it if you could help me. Oh, I also need Harley's bank account again since I accidentally deleted the email ^^; Gomen...
Oh! I almost forgot... Since Boston is a place of memory (with my ex-boyfriend) and I know a lot of Indonesian people there (who are mostly my ex's friends), I met several people accidentally at Porter Exchange Building (a place full of Japanese shops, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets) while having lunch. The first person I met is a bestfriend of my ex. He came with his sister and her boyfriend. The siblings are quite popular in Boston, mostly because they're the ideal image of a guy & a girl in general (beautiful & handsome, rich, tall, great body, etc). The second person I met is my highschool friend whom I hadn't seen for a year. She actually lives in Arizona, but she's in Boston this whole summer for internship. It was quite an accident meeting her there, so we were very surprised (.... and a bit loud at first due to our exclamation =P).
I'm sleepy & tired ~_~ I can't continue now *gives up* I'll write again tomorrow, hopefully. Ja ne ~~ *waves*
