Oh, I forgot to add...
Last Sunday was really nice, the weather and all. Thus, I went outside with a friend although I had so many things to do that were due on Monday (a final speech, a one-page paper, and a job application packet that consists of: a 4-page memo, two resumes, and two cover letters). About 4 PM, we had early dinner/late lunch, taking pictures on the way to the restaurant (yes, I dressed up a bit XD). Later that night, I went out with Kara for late dinner, enjoying the atmosphere and procrastinating. I ended up doing only the paper that night, and saving the speech, 4-page memo, resumes, and cover letters for the next morning. Alright, I have never met anyone who is more last-minute than me other than Kara. Fact is: I hadn't had a speech topic yet when I went to bed that night! And the speech was to be held at 12.45 PM the following day O_O I was a bit panicked, of course. I went to bed thinking about doing a speech on "The Importance of HTML" and was almost sure that would have been my topic. But when I woke up at 8.30 AM and searched for resources on that topic, I hardly found any -_- Instead, I found an article on "The Importance of Foreign Language", and I instantly decided to use that topic. I was finally done preparing the speech at 12.15 PM (having taken a shower & had breakfast in between), and practicing carelessly while blow-drying my hair afterwards =P The result? 90% =D That's an A-. I couldn't ask for more, especially for a last-minute speech. And this speech weighs 30% of the final grade! (The first speech weighs 10% & the second one weights 20%.)
No, Lise, I'm not pissed at your email. I was just emphasizing my background reason in a straightforward way ^^ I'm always bad with emails, so I tend to get lazy in replying such emails.
