Indonesia : Dec 23rd @ 8.33 PMI'm finally home... not for a long time though -_- I will travel again first thing in the morning on the 25th.. to Bali (a very famous island for tourism). I will be here in Jakarta (my hometown, the capital of Indonesia) again on the 29th... and remain here until I'm going back to the States on Jan 14th.
Really, Alexa? :_: That's too bad. I was in transit at Frankfurt and I thought I'd give you a call to surprise you (although we wouldn't be able to see each other anyway =P). I didn't know that your phone doesn't have an answering machine. I thought you had one, since I heard a greeting in German (I think it was your voice), then the sound "beep" after that. I thought that was the perfect time to leave a message, like on regular answering machines (you know, like "please leave a message after the beep") ^^; So I started talking, "Hey, Alexa ^^ This is Elyse. Guess where I am right nowww ~~~ I'm in Frankfurt XD I'm in transit here for 1 hour on my way to Indonesia. Well, I guess I'll talk to you later then." Oh well.. you could've let your dad hear my accent *laughs*
Perhaps I could've known it wasn't an answering machine, had I understood German >_< After having called your room, I tried my luck by calling your family phone downstairs, and I heard the same (more or less) greeting , so I hung up. I had left a message at your phone machine anyway, so it would've been silly to leave another identical message on your family phone. Anyhow, I'll call you on my way back to USA *eeep, spoiler!* And,... I miss you too :_: I hope I can catch you soon.. at least before New Year's.
Actually, on the day I last posted, I wasn't feeling well. I had diarrhea when I woke up and it turned out to be stomach flu -_- To make it worse, the wonderful gastric also decided to attack me. Oh, what joy! I ended up having to eat porridge for 2 days, and no chili, even until now :_: Feel my pain.. no chili! *sobs* The taste of the food is only half as good without chili ._. I was supposed to enjoy my days by eating the delicious traditional food as much as I want... But I've bought some of them home so I can payback for what I lost *grins* But still, no chili! *stamps foot*
